I actually acquired and read each one of the programs reviewed in this section. I really hate the “reviews” I sometimes see where the “reviewer” has written a couple short useless paragraphs that make you wonder if they have even seen the program (and usually prove they haven’t).
Even more troubling is the disturbing tactic some of the authors (or their sales staff) employ – they write reviews of their own products and then supply these fake “reviews” to sites willing to promote their products. What you think you is an honest review can actually be carefully crafted sales copy.
For the most part, I had to go into my pocket and purchase the programs in order to make this section the complete review I envisioned. In a few cases, program authors contacted me and sent me their programs.
The Reason I Did These Reviews?
As you can probably tell from the site, I have a passion for things related to weight gain and muscle building. That passion stems from my own struggles to effectively put on muscle weight which are documented throughout this site. Eventually, after a long and frustrating journey, I did successfully get my muscles growing.
Along the way, I read and applied stuff from Will Brink and others. So, I knew these guys knew what they were talking about and had a lot to offer. But looking at the number of programs marketed at those of us trying to bulk up, a number that is continuously growing, one can get a bit overwhelmed.
Moving past the sales talk. Most all the programs are sold via rather long one page web pages or long videos that don’t exactly go easy on the hype. With your B.S. detector switched off, you’re likely to want to buy each one. With it on, it can be pretty difficult to determine which of the programs is actually going to help you towards your goals.
These reviews are an attempt to help you discover the programs that actually deliver a quality product that will help you gain muscle.
QUALITY PROGRAMS DO EXIST.
They are out there and they do present an incredibly effective and fast route to significant muscle and weight gain. Unfortunately, these good programs sit side-by-side with the worthless programs.
Hopefully the reviews will help you pick the right program for you.
What is the rating criteria?
Programs were marked down when I felt they were overpriced, incomplete, unclear or inaccurate.
In short, the ratings are my opinion based on my knowledge and my experience. The long version of what I look for when reviewing a muscle-building program is detailed in 6 Things To Look For In A Mass Gain Personal Trainer.

Whatever way you get there…
Just get there. Seriously, just get there. If you are on this site and this deep into this site, I think it is fair to say you have a strong desire to build up your body. As strong as that desire may be, understand that of the many who share similar goals, most will fail.
They will fail because the frustration that comes with a lack of knowledge (and results) will suck all the desire and determination right out of them.
Failing is a shame because there are so many benefits to be gotten through achieving natural bodybuilding goals. They are goals that when realized cannot be torn down. There is no luck involved, no magic pills or routines. You don’t get there because you have to; you get there because you want to get there. You get there through intelligent planning, hard work and determination.
The self-confidence that comes with these achievements is enormous. This confidence brings positive changes to all facets of your life. While many may come to bodybuilding with simple desires such as making themselves more appealing to the opposite sex, those who succeed at producing significant change will tell you that it turns into much, much more.
It is easy to discount your goals as being vain, to place them towards the bottom of your to-do-list as you may have more pressing problems. I would encourage you not to let them slip too far down that list because they will likely bring much more to you than you may realize.
Instead, make your goals right now. Start on the path to the achievement of those goals right now.
Significant muscle gain is available to anyone. It doesn’t take a huge time commitment, you don’t need to spend more than 5 hours a week in the gym. It doesn’t take large sums of money. Guys in the most impoverished neighborhoods of the most impoverished countries build impressive physiques.
You don’t need any supplements and you don’t need to get any program. Certain supplements and the top programs can definitely help you but they won’t be the determining factor in whether or not you succeed.
The determining factor will be YOU and YOU alone. It will be YOUR ability to get and apply the right knowledge and YOUR ability to supply the necessary desire and determination for as long as it takes.
Where you get the knowledge isn’t important, where you get the desire isn’t important. What is important is that you GET IT and you GET THERE. The rewards can truly be life-changing.
Best of luck to you,
JP Clifford
