Finding herself a seriously underweight teen (5’4 and about 90 lbs.), Karen Sessions realized she needed a change. She was in the first stages of an eating disorder and a future hospital stay didn’t sound appealing.
Instead, she went to the gym and found something. She didn’t just gain weight; she gained healthy weight (she gained muscle-weight).
With bodybuilding, Karen found a passion.
Soon she was competing in state competitions. She learned more and more about how to diet and train and she started placing higher and higher in those competitions. Within two years she was bringing home first-place trophies.
Nowadays, Karen sticks to training others. She has become a world-class trainer helping women to better results in figure and bodybuilding competitions. She also trains the “average women”, those whose goals may only include losing a little (or a lot of) weight or adding a little (or a lot of) lean muscle.
Karen has an advanced understanding of female training and diet. She has also developed an advanced understanding of all the myths and fears women associate with weights and bodybuilding. She is an expert at moving women past such irrational reservations and on to achieving their goals.
She has written 6 ebooks. The second of which, Iron Dolls, is a comprehensive, virtual encyclopedia of female bodybuilding information. It is highly recommended reading for all female trainers, regardless of what their physique-change goals may be.
